The Blue Quill Angler is proud to offer FREE domestic shipping on orders over $30 that are shipped within the lower 48 states. Items that do not qualify for free shipping are clearly noted in the top of the description or on the listing page. If you are leaving for a trip of a lifetime in a few days, please do not select free shipping. Our turn-around time on orders will make your head spin and sometimes the selected carriers deliver ahead of schedule, but there are no delivery time guarantees with free shipping. Don't put your dream trip at risk.
Orders must be placed by noon (mountain time) to be processed the same day (Monday-Friday). We do not ship on weekends. If it is 4 pm on a Monday and you place an overnight order, it will be processed Tuesday and you will receive it on Wednesday. If you have any questions, please contact us at 303-674-4700.
Please understand that The Blue Quill Angler cannot be responsible for items that are delayed, lost or stolen after they have left our shop. We will provide customers with the appropriate tracking number for the shipping method used so that customers can follow-up directly with the appropriate shipping company as needed.

We will not falsify customs forms. The customs form will report the exact value of the purchase price for the products. In addition, we will not mark the package as a gift.
The buyer is responsible for any taxes, VAT, duties and import fees that the destination country may charge. We cannot control the taxes, VAT, duties and import fees that the destination country charges. If the buyer chooses to refuse the shipment to avoid the taxes, VAT, duty or customs charges and the shipment is returned to us, the buyer responsible for the return shipping charges or a 15% restocking fee. INTERNATIONAL is anywhere outside of the United States.

The $19.95 shipping charge is worst case scenario. If you order a couple of small items that cost $15.00 to ship, that is what you will be charged. If you order a large item that cost us $35.00 to ship, you will be charged $19.95
Returns & Exchanges
The Blue Quill Angler return and exchange policy is designed to insure that our customer’s will be fully satisfied with the products you receive. Blue Quill Angler does not accept returns on used gear, flies, leaders, tippet or closeout/sale items.
RETURNS: Blue Quill Angler (BQA) gladly accepts product returns within 30 days of the date of purchase with receipt of purchase. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Returned or exchanged items must be in new, resellable condition with all packaging and tags intact to receive full credit.
Customers may be assessed restocking fees, and/or cleaning fees based on the condition of the product.
Your original form of payment will be credited for the appropriate amount, less return freight (if applicable) following a satisfactory inspection.
Used items and “custom orders” are not eligible for refunds and exchanges.
Any returns received after 30 days from date of purchase will not be accepted. We will give you a call or send you an email to see how you would like to get the package back. Any shipping charges to return the package are your responsibility.
EXCHANGES: Blue Quill Angler will gladly accept exchanges on products within 30 days of the date of purchase as long as the product is still current with the manufacturer. You are responsible for shipping charges back to Blue Quill Angler however, we will cover the shipping cost for the replacement item. (Limited to 1 exchange). Oversized packages may accrue additional re-shipping charges. **Orders from Alaska, Hawaii, and all international orders, are subject to shipping charges on returns and exchanges.**
Shipping Damage: If you receive merchandise that is damaged during shipping refuse the shipment upon delivery (if possible) and contact us immediately. If you are unable to refuse shipment, please hold on to the original packaging for claims evidence.
